IT Work Order
February’s ITSM Solution Forum focused on the concept of an IT Work Oder.
Many of Avante’s Customers are unable to effectively track and manage important activities that are primarily initiated and performed by IT personnel. These activities, although critical to the ongoing support of IT operations, do not meet the criteria for being managed under processes such as Service Request Management or Change Management; consequently, organizations are more and more adopting the concept on an IT Work Order.
During the forum, Avante Customers shared operational scenarios for which the IT Work Order can be used, and discussed ideas on how the IT Work Order can be designed and managed.
All participants appreciated having the opportunity to share ideas and explore ways to address the ongoing challenges they face.
